Almond blossom season on the largest of the Balearic Islands - Mallorca

The island is transformed into a sea of white and pink blooms by the innumerable almond trees that bloom between mid-January and early March. Because of this, the Mallorcan almond blossoms, like the cherry blossoms in Japan, are a breathtaking natural display. The blossom peaks in mid-February and lasts for a total of four to six weeks. The region between Andratx, Port Andratx, and S'Arraco in Mallorca's southwest is a great place to see the almond blossoms.
